SCRIP PROGRAM

For those of you who may not know what the scrip program is, let me explain. Scrip is a Gift Certificate, which is issued by the supermarket for use in paying for your groceries at the supermarket. The church purchases the gift certificates from the supermarket at a discount and sells them at face value. The difference between the discount and the face value is the profit made by the Church. The Church has Scrip for Shoprite. Scrip can be used in any store.

 

You can use the Shoprite scrip to purchase gift cards at the courtesy counter in the Shoprite. So if you are planning on giving a gift card as a gift this Christmas; such as for a restaurant, Home Depot, or other retail stores; consider purchasing it at the Shoprite with Shoprite scrip.
